I will use this BLOG to showcase a recent photograph. I will update it periodically. That's true of the photos in my gallery as well. I may comment on the photo.

Some photographers say a photograph should tell a story. I agree that it's an element of photography, but I don't believe that all photos need to do that. In my opinion, many photographs are good simply because they are interesting or creative. A good photograph persuades people to take a few moments viewing it. That's a subjective thing because people see things differently; some may like it, others might not. Then there are the rules of composition, but there are great photos that break all those rules and are very good.

Animals spend their whole day scrounging for food. When this little guy begged for food, I gave it a peanut. It scrambled over to the base of a tree to eat it, and then it posed for me to take its picture.
